The Compromise/Please Grow Up!

The DNC Rules Committee finally made a decision regarding the disputed primaries in both Michigan and Florida.  It essentially amounts to the halving of each state's delegate votes.  You can get more details here.

This was the cause of much uproar from the losing side, who has began bringing up some notion that they have been discriminated against and that the cards were stacked against them from the beginning.  Allow me to remind you that Hillary Clinton was certainly going to be the nominee until the voting started, and that the Clinton campaign has made very questionable comments about race with regard to Sen. Obama.  Let me also remind you that no one brought up this notion of sexism until the Senator from New York began to palpably lose.  This nomination process is, and ought to be, over.  Can we please stop being so fucking petty?!  We're talking about the future of this country, it amazes me how often we forget that.  If you supported a losing candidate this time around, I truly feel for you.  I know how much that sucks, but if we could please just suck it up and move on.

I know I went on a bit of a tangent there, I originally started this post just because I wanted to share this video of Donna Brazile speaking at the Rules Committee meeting.  This reaffirms my love for this woman.
